Michele Del Ray

For our Pin-Up of the week we bring you the Red Hot Michele Del Ray.  She is the full pin-up package, with her own prop if needed (a ’64 Thuderbird!), a house designed to make an interesting shooting location, her own wardrobe and does her own make-up.  Just in case you are in need of a quick fix, she can make it happen 😉 Michele is a classic collector with a flare for vintage fashion.  She has a look that can capture a variety of time periods and genres.  Enjoy our post of the vibrant pin-up with a passion for hot-rods!

My name is Michele, also known as “Michele Del Ray” in the pinup scene. I am primarily interested in Pinup & Alternative modeling. I love anything from the 40’s through 60’s in style as well as modern takes on these eras. I love all things tiki, and am interested in shooting in the style of exotica/tiki/voodoo/kitch. I also am a big classic and hot rod nut. I am open to shooting lite Bettie Page style bondage and implied but not full nude.

I started out doing this because I love classic old glamour photos and wanted to capture my own image in this style. I really loved the shoots I have done so far and the fantastic people that I have met doing this. I am always positive, professional, and fun to work with on shoots.

I live in San Diego and I have a really cool house that is good for shoots. We have a 50’s diner, tiki lounge, macabre living room, and western 50’s room (under construction) available. I work in Architecture and Interior Design. If you are interested in using my home for a shoot location please contact me for photos.

I also own a ’64 Thunderbird (light satin green and gloss pearl white with black interior) if needed for a shoot. I also can provide my own wardrobe (depending on the theme, I have a large private vintage collection of 50’s and 60’s, vintage lingerie and furs). I can also do my own Makeup (Glamor, Pin up) and Hair (50’s sets) if needed.

Not to mention I also go go dance for Jason Lee and the R.I.P. Tides in San Diego, CA, and have a hair accessory line called Modern Nostalgia amongst all the other things I do! 😉
